They are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled WordPress developer who wants to work within a team environment to address programming and development needs of website projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Slice PSD files and convert into HTML/CSS
• Build custom full featured WordPress themes from scratch
• Configure a wide variety of WordPress plug-ins
• Maintain and update hosted sites
• Responsible for working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Document work–time and processes as specified, and enter into internal database
• Occasional face-time with customers, customer contact and service to web clients and management
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal project management staff in a courteous and respectful manner
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• A team player that can lend ideas to a project and raise development red flags

Qualifications:

• Total comfort writing standards-compliant HTML5, CSS3, PHP, javascript (jQuery), etc.
• Strong understanding of responsive web designcoding techniques and implementation
• Knowledge of accessibility (Section 508) and usability best practices and techniques
• Ability to customize and extend WordPress or other open source platforms and frameworks with plugins, etc. as necessary
• Work with Apache web servers. Interact with servers using FTP, Telnet, and SSH protocols
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with solutions to problems, a self-starter
